AMERICAN IDOL’s Jessica Sanchez Amazes Judges With Whitney Houston Cover

Filipino-American Jessica Sanchez wowed AMERICAN IDOL judges with her rendition of the late Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.”

Sanchez received raving comments from all three judges and when host Ryan Seacrest asked Steven Taylor about his favorite performance of the night, Taylor responded with ”My two favorite standouts would have to be Jessica Sanchez and Jessica Sanchez.”

The Wednesday night episode also marked AMERICAN IDOL’s 400th episode. In celebration, guys sang Stevie Wonder, while the girls took on Whitney Houston in a new battle of the sexes format. On Thursday’s results show, judges will decide who goes home from the guy and girl with the least votes.

IDOL is currently in their 11th season and the TOP 13 also includes Korean-American Heejun Han. The show airs weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8/7c on FOX.

Congrats to Wong Fu, Randall Park, and Ellen Wong!

Congratulations to Wong Fu Productions on their new web series titled HOME IS WHERE THE HANS ARE featuring Randall Park and Ellen Wong!
