Announced July 19, the Emmy Awards celebrate the top talents in television today, including some of CAPE’s own members.

CAPE Presents An Evening With Carrie Ann Inaba was held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Japanese American National Museum. Special thanks to our sponsor Verizon and volunteers for helping make the event possible.

The intimate presentation showcased newest CAPE Board Member Carrie Ann Inaba, as interviewed by CAPE Founder and Co-Chairperson Wenda Fong. Carrie Ann shared her life story and path to success, while offering perspective and inspiration to CAPE members and the Asian American Pacific Islander community.

The evening also marked the launch of CAPE’s I AM Campaign, sponsored thus far by Sony Pictures Entertainment.

CAPE Casting Workshop – Last Week To Submit

Calling all actors – submit your headshots for our upcoming CAPE Casting Workshop before the June 18 deadline!

You do not want to miss this exclusive opportunity to audition in front of ABC Casting Executives including Keli Lee (Executive Vice President of Casting, ABC Entertainment Group). This unique program will give you valuable feedback about your performance and help you make adjustments to book jobs!

You’ll also gain exposure to the casting directors behind such hit shows as ABC’s LOST, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, UGLY BETTY, and GREY’S ANATOMY. Former participants include CAPE Member Melissa Tang, who recently landed a regular role on Fox’s THE GOODWIN GAMES, and newest CAPE Board Member Carrie Ann Inaba (Dancer, Choreographer, Producer, Television Host, and Judge on DANCING WITH THE STARS).

This program is designed to improve actors of all levels. All CAPE members are encouraged to apply.
