CAPE is proud to present an exclusive screening of LIFE OF PI directed by CAPE advisor Ang Lee and starring Suraj Sharma.

Where:  Zanuck Theater on the FOX Lot

Time: 7pm check-in, 8pm sharp screening

Parking: available on the FOX Lot, must have ID present to check-in with studio security

Please include your full name as it appears on your ID along with your phone number and email. If you are bringing a guest, please include the full name of your guest. All attendees must have their IDs present at time of check-in, otherwise, will not be allowed on the FOX Lot. Screening will start 8pm SHARP, late comers will not be allowed on the FOX Lot.

NBC 6th Annual Diversity Scene Showcase

NBC’s 6th Annual Diversity Scene Showcase, a one night event showcasing 5 minute scenes by up-and-coming diverse writers and starring new diverse talent, is now accepting submissions. This is a highly successful program for writers. Past participants have been staffed on hit NBC shows including THE OFFICE, GRIMM and WHITNEY.

This is an exclusive opportunity for interested CAPE writers. Please submit two comedy and/or drama scenes with two characters each (no additional casts allowed). If submitting a comedy scene, please limit each submission to 5 pages. If submitting a drama scene, please limit each submission to 7 pages. You must submit each scene as  a PDF with the necessary release forms attached. Deadline for submission is December 14 by 4pm PST.

The Summit will focus on the trends and dynamics shaping the U.S.-China film relationship and recent advances in the Hollywood-China partnerships and collaborations. Prominent Chinese and Hollywood film industry leaders will share their experiences and strategies on successfully navigating the East-West filmmaking process including CAPE advisor Janet Yang.
