Justin Lin to Remake THE SHAOLIN TEMPLE

Justin LinJustin Lin is set to remake Jet Li‘s 1982 martial arts movie THE SHAOLIN TEMPLE.

In the 1982 original movie, Jet Li stars as a slave whose father was killed by the Emperor. He found refuge in the Shaolin Temple, where he learned kung fu in order to avenge his father.

Lin is also set to direct the next Bourne Legacy sequel.

Brian TeeLifetime will premiere the original movie THE GABBY DOUGLAS STORY on Saturday, February 1, at 8pm ET/PT. Brian Tee has been cast in the film as Coach Liang Chow. The film will also star Regina King, S. Epatha Merkerson, Imani Hakim, Sydney Mikayla, and Gabby Douglas herself.

 

 

 

 

margaret_choMargaret Cho has joined the cast in the Tina Fey comedy, “Cabot College”. The show takes place at Cabot College, a women’s college, that has just opened its doors to men for the first time.

Cho will play Laura Thibault, the president of the college who made the difficult decision to admit men into the school.
