About DOCUMENTED: In 2011, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas outed himself as an undocumented immigrant in an essay published in the New York Times Magazine. DOCUMENTED chronicles his journey to America from the Philippines as a child; his journey through America as an immigration reform activist; and his journey inward as he re-connects with his mother, whom he hasn’t seen in person in over 20 years.
The New York Times discovers that AAPI theater actors are experiencing demand – a demand that is being met with the several plays and musicals, including “Here Lies Love”.

For the last 14 years, Kollaboration has provided a platform for young API artists to showcase their talent and pursue their dreams through their many shows across North America.
This year’s Kollaboration Los Angeles includes 5 talented finalists. Of the five finalists, one standout act will advance to Kollaboration Star to compete against other winners from this year’s eight participating cities.This year’s show will also have special guest performers including: The Rhee Brothers (Kollaboration LA 2013 Winner) and Anderson .Paak.
Kollaboration’s mission is to promote positive and accurate perceptions of Asians and Pacific Islanders in media and entertainment.
