Thank You & Happy Holidays From CAPE

Dear CAPE Friends,

Thank you for your much appreciated commitment to CAPE! Because of your support, we are celebrating 23 wonderful years of growth and service to the community. We encourage you to watch Jennifer’s salute to CAPE, along with the celebrity interviews and #IAm Campaign videos, to find out why “we still need everyone’s support”.

Here are two great gift ideas that support CAPE:

  1. Donate to CAPE in honor of someone through your year-end charitable giving
  2. Give the gift of intent using the coupon code “cape” and 100% of proceeds will go to fund CAPE programs. Use the “cape” coupon code to get free shipping at http://www.myintent.org/. MyIntent Project’s mission is to be a catalyst for meaningful conversations and positive energy in the world, and to encourage people to share more truth and inspiration with each other.  For example, I was given the gift of intent and found my word – flyhigh. As a flyer (flying trapeze), I always strive to fly higher. I am happiest when flying through the air and want to share that love with everyone.

Dear CAPE Friends & Colleagues,

The CAPE Holiday Party & Farewell to Jennifer Sanderson was an exciting night that exceeded anything I could have imagined – glamorous red carpet – my name in lights – Apl.de.Ap performing “I Gotta Feeling”! Most importantly, the historic El Rey Theatre was filled with over 300 community members who filled the event with electricity, fun, and support. Thank you CAPE Board of Directors, Advisors, Wenda Fong, Fritz Friedman, Adele Yoshioka, Joy Moh, Ted Benito, Grant Kimura, Adrian Zaw, Hana Kwon and all the Volunteers for producing a special send off of a lifetime.

Today is my last day at CAPE and my final request as CAPE Executive Director is that you consider CAPE in your end of year giving. CAPE donations are accepted in any amount and 100% tax-deductible. All contributions go directly towards funding CAPE Educational Programming that nurture the next generation of artists and leaders in our community, which make dreams come true.

If you’re on a budget, consider doing your holiday shopping using AmazonSmile and Amazon will make a donation to CAPE. Other ways to support this season for free:

I have been touched by your kind emails and well wishes as I depart. As I shared at the party, “commit to your dreams and this community” and extraordinary things will happen. I’ve had the time of my life –thank you for allowing me to serve you at CAPE for the past five years.

Warmest Holiday Wishes,

Jennifer Sanderson
