CAPE Advisor Janet Yang and Lawrence Grey has joined Shannon Lee, the daughter of legendary martial artist Bruce Lee to bring his legacy in a new feature film. This is the first project to have the family’s full involvement in the production.
“There have been projects out there involving my father, but they’ve lacked a complete understanding of his philosophies and artistry. They haven’t captured the essence of his beliefs in martial arts or storytelling. The only way to get audiences to understand the depth and uniqueness of my father is to generate our own material and find amazing, like-minded partners to work with.” -Shannon Lee
In addition to the BRUCE LEE BIOPIC, Lee’s company, Bruce Lee Entertainment, has a number of film and television projects in development, including a television project with director Justin Lin as well as a reality-based show in China with Keanu Reeves and Stephen Hamel.
BRUCE LEE BIOPIC comes to theaters in 2017.

Freshman shows rarely launch the 8:00 PM timeslot for a network. They usually get a timeslot after a successful, existing show, to give the audience a chance to find it and start watching it. This year, “Fresh Off The Boat” was given the very difficult task of launching Tuesday night for ABC against the #1 network drama “NCIS”, and the #1 network unscripted show “The Voice”. “Fresh Off The Boat” has held its own with a 1.9 rating, better than any show ABC has had in that timeslot in years. Unlike most freshman shows, its ratings have maintained and not fallen. Congratulations to ABC and the producers for a terrific show that has had to find its own audience. Let us know what you think of it.
