Currently, James Ngo is Senior Vice President of Franchise Management at Legendary Entertainment, leading business development verticals for interactive gaming and VR, location based entertainment and partnership marketing while managing the strategy for Legendary’s major global entertainment franchises like Pacific Rim, Lost In Space, Godizilla and the Monsterverse, Dune and a variety of other projects in the pipeline. Prior to Legendary, James spent a decade at FremantleMedia where he served as Vice President of Global Brand Acquisitions and Franchise Development focusing on acquiring new IPs and developing them into franchises for the global television powerhouse. James was Senior Director of Consumer Products and Licensing before that, overseeing global brands such as American Idol, The Price Is Right, America’s Got Talent, Baywatch and many others. James is a graduate from UCLA with a B.A. in Communications, and holds a M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
