Peter J McHugh is a manager and producer at The Gotham Group. After the Creative Artists Agency trainee program, McHugh joined Gotham in 2000, when the company was part of Artists Management Group.
McHugh represents such celebrated authors, actors, writers, and directors in film and television as Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), Thor Freudenthal (Hotel for Dogs, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters), Peter Cornwell (The Haunting in Connecticut, Stephen King’s Mercy), Wes Ball (Ruin, Maze Runner), Matt Hastings (Eureka, The Originals), Chase Palmer (Stephen King’s It), Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Splice, Hannibal) and David Bruckner (V/H/S, Friday the 13th).
McHugh was Co-Executive Producer on the Emmy-nominated and Annie-winning series Creature Comforts for Aardman / CBS. He is currently producing Ghostopolis at Disney with Hugh Jackman attached to star and Tommysaurus Rex at Universal with Tom McCarthy writing and directing.
A cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College and former Assistant Director of Admissions for the school, McHugh is a founding member of the Junior Hollywood Radio & Television Society, and was recently featured in The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen Issue.
