Teddy Zee is a film producer, entertainment executive and marketing consultant with 30 years of experience in Hollywood. In total, Zee’s films have grossed almost $2 billion at the box office. Zee was one of the first Asian Americans to reach prominence in the film industry at the studio level, holding the position of Sr. VP of Production at Paramount Pictures and Exec. VP of Production at Columbia Pictures. His credits as producer include PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS, HITCH, LIFE OR SOMETHING LIKE IT, WEST 32ND, SAVING FACE and QUANTUM QUEST. The shepherded include CHARLIE’S ANGELS, CABLE GUY, MY GIRL, MO MONEY, FOOLS RUSH IN, ANACONDA and INDECENT PROPOSAL. Zee championed the Hollywood screen debut of Chow Yun Fat, Matthew Perry and Damon Wayans as well as the directorial debut of Antoine Fuqua. He was also Executive Producer of the Asian Excellence Awards. Most recently, Zee has been involved in bridging Hollywood and Asia. In addition to working with studios in China, Korea and Taiwan, Zee facilitated a major marketing and promotions deal between China fashion retailer Semir and Marvel Studio’s IRON MAN 2.
