The CAPE Leaders Fellowship is an incubator to equip the next generation of creative executives with the skills and professional network to break into the VP ranks.

Co-chaired by Albert Cheng (Vice President, Amazon Prime Video U.S.), Naia Cucukov (Co-Founder, Working Barn Entertainment) and Peter J McHugh (Manager, Gotham Group), the Fellowship features masterclasses, workshops, and intimate sessions with high-level executives to train participants in the art of communication, leadership, pitching, and other skills.

Eligibility Terms and Requirements:

  • Applicants should be consistent with CAPE’s mission to champion diversity by educating, connecting, and empowering Asian American and Pacific Islander artists and leaders in entertainment and media.

  • Applicants must be 21 years or older.

  • Applicants must have a minimum of one year experience in the entertainment industry at the manager or director level (or job equivalent at respective company). Development, current, and production fields are strongly preferred.

  • All finalists agree to participate in all sessions and meetings, which will be conducted two weekday evenings per week in August and September 2025, both in-person in Los Angeles and virtually.
