RADIANCE: A Celebration of Asian & Pacific Islander Women and Non-Binary Achievement in Entertainment
CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) is the premier go-to organization for any and all Asian and Pacific Islander-related matters in Hollywood. RADIANCE is the first-of-its-kind celebratory fundraiser featuring an awards program honoring influential cultural creators and decision-making power brokers at the highest levels of Asian and Pacific Islander (API) achievement in Hollywood, as well as the brightest emerging talent. Despite the massive contributions API women and non-binary individuals make to the entertainment industry, their achievements are often overlooked.
Proceeds from the evening will go towards sustaining CAPE's pathway programs such as the CAPE New Writers Fellowship (CNWF), CAPE Leaders Fellowship (CLF), Julia S. Gouw Short Film Challenge for API Women and Non-Binary Filmmakers, CAPE Animation Directors Accelerator, CAPE Emerging Executives Committee, and other programs in incubation. These programs are a high-touch, impactful step towards breaking down the barriers that have held API creatives down in the industry for far too long.
